Basketball and hockey are both back downtown. The Cleveland Cavaliers' 2026-27 home schedule opens at Rocket Arena on Saturday, Oct. 24 against the Brooklyn Nets (7:30 p.m. ET). Home games follow Monday, Oct. 26 vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, Wednesday, Oct. 28 vs. the Washington Wizards, and Monday, Nov. 2 vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder. The New York Knicks come to town Saturday, Nov. 7.

The Cleveland Monsters are in their 20th AHL season at Rocket Arena. Their next home date after the Cavs opener is Saturday, Oct. 31 at 2:00 p.m. against the Milwaukee Admirals. Later this season, Rocket Arena hosts the 2027 AHL All-Star Classic: Skills Competition on Sunday, Feb. 7, and the All-Star Challenge on Monday, Feb. 8.

With two teams sharing one arena, game nights downtown can be busy from October through spring. Royal Ride Executive Transportation provides private chauffeured rides to and from Rocket Arena, with 24/7 live in-house dispatch.

Where we drop you off

Rocket Arena lists these official drop-off and pick-up locations:

  • Huron E. & 8th Street

  • West Huron at Tower City

  • Ontario Street

  • Prospect Ave E. & 4th Street

  • West Prospect at Tower City

Your chauffeur uses whichever point is best for your seats and for that night's traffic. After the game, we text you the exact pickup point and your chauffeur's details. The car is staged before the final buzzer, so you aren't wandering East 4th looking for a ride.

Who rides with us

  • Corporate hosts bringing clients to a suite or courtside seats, who need a smooth evening from the office in Beachwood, Independence or downtown to the arena and on to dinner.

  • Groups and families who want one luxury SUV or Sprinter instead of several cars and garage fees.

  • Visitors flying in. We meet private jets at Burke Lakefront (BKL), Cuyahoga County (CGF) and Akron-Canton (CAK), and commercial flights at Cleveland Hopkins (CLE) and Akron-Canton (CAK) with flight tracking. Visiting fans come in for the Knicks and Nets games, and we get them straight downtown.

  • Suburban fans from Akron, Hudson, Solon, Westlake and Mentor who would rather not drive home after a late game.

Make a night of it

Hourly service lets your chauffeur stay with you for the whole evening: dinner on East 4th or in the Warehouse District, the game, and a stop afterward. It's well suited to client entertaining, birthdays and a night out with friends.

Cavs, Monsters, Browns: one call

Our game-day service covers every Cleveland team. In football season, see our Browns game day guide at https://royal-ride.com/blog/cleveland-browns-game-day-car-service-stadium-drop-off-suites-and-jet-arrivals for Huntington Bank Field. When the Guardians return to Progressive Field next spring, we'll be there too, along with concerts and events at Rocket Arena.

Vehicles and chauffeurs

We drive late-model luxury sedans and SUVs, plus Sprinter vans for larger groups. Our chauffeurs are professional and discreet, and they know downtown game-night traffic.

Book early for big nights

The home opener, the Knicks visit, weekend games and the All-Star Classic will be the busiest nights. Reserve ahead, especially for groups and for Monsters home dates that fall on the same weekend as a Cavs game.
